Compania multinationala UPS a castigat premiul Vision for America in cadrul concursului anual “Keep America Beautiful”, editia 22.
UPS a fost premiata pentru responsabilitatea corporativa pe care o are pentru probleme de mediu, sociale si civice. Compania a devenit astfel un role-model pentru celelalte organizatii din America.
Iata ce a declarat Michael L. Eskew, CEO al UPS la primirea premiului:
“At UPS, we truly believe you can work green and work smart at the same time. We believe that when you combine these elements, you can meaningfully touch people, the planet and profitability. That’s why UPS will continue to practice corporate stewardship at every step of the way… because our job is never finished.”
